See, when I join Element, me being such a bitchin' skater and all... *COUGH can't ollie down 5 stairs COUGH* ... Yeah.
Anyways, if I ever become good enough to join, I'd like my welcome deck (Like everyone else who becomes an Element pro gets) to look like this. An example of a different Element Welcome Deck: [link] Purple color-scheming, with a concert-type thing in the background. Burley and fiberlight technologies so it won't snap or chip, and nice steep conclaves so your feet really feel gripped. Measurements 7.5 x 31.5. Made with MS paint, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8, and Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Element logo copyright Element. If only. (EDIT) After reviewing all other Element Welcome decks, I noticed that there is a period after the name. Plus, there weren't hardware holes, which really irked me. Sorry the edges of the deck look so "burnt". Actually... That's a pretty good effect. |

Keep your back foot on the tail and your front foot about an inch or 2 behind the front bolts.
Keep your back foot sideways and your front foot sideways, slanting a little to the front.
Bend your knees just a bit and lean forward just the tiniest bit.
Oh, and put more weight on your front foot than on your back foot, but keep it even enough so you don't fall.
As for pushing off, there's two ways to do it. The regular way, and the mongo way.
The regular way means you push off keeping your front foot on the board, while the mongo way means you keep your back foot on. For mongo, you may wanna put the heel of your foot up to the back bolts first.
Either way, you put the foot that stays on parallel to the board and push off with teh other foot.
Keep pushing until you reach a comfortable speed, put your feet back into position, then ride.
You may never use this info, but whatever.
